Girls' Day Out

Women gamers were once considered a rarity. Now they're all over the scene, and yet people still insist on treating them as if they're a precious commodity and should be singled out for special treatment. Girls free if their female, a gamer, and prominent players of the gaming community they should be treated equally, anything else would be ridiculous, trivializing, and hypocritical. The predominant audience of Ants and Online-like games is male. I've heard various women in the community and the industry claim that the percentage of females who play is quite higher. (not true)
Their are more issues then just besides determination and a lot of ambition to winning games today. I'm not sure if its really a genetic thing, but c'mon this is a male dominated game. All hail the great pimp daddy Craisin, but its so true. If you were to put the so-called best female Ants players together and had them play the best male Ants players...ladies you wouldn't stand a chance in the world. Why does there seem like such an imbalance in skill between these two genders? I really don't know ... the female half seems to be good at chatting in the main chat and being versed but I think when it comes down to it may be just all bark and no bite. This is a very controversial issue, but I think 97% of the community will agree with me and the other 3%, which also happens to be the female fraction of Ants will disagree.
Don't get me wrong their has been some excellent, topnotch players that have been elitist females, some even old school. The best example of this was FEM, an all female ants clan with incredible skill and great players to boot.
If you're female, be a chick and enjoy it (you know I would). Play Ants and enjoy it. Hell, be a chick who's good at Ants and enjoy it. But ask for the same treatment as anyone else and expect nothing more because of your gender - doing anything less would be hindering gaming, not helping it.
