Remember

An Old Man’s Prayer

Missing You

Remember

Remember the time Someone dried your tears

Remember the time Someone consoled you when you felt hurt

Remember the time You felt safe in Someone's arms

Remember the time Someone made you smile

Remember the time Someone made You laugh

Remember the time Someone made you jump for joy

Remember the time Someone congratulated you on a job well done

Remember the time Someone thanked you for a small deed done

Remember Someone still cares and loves you - no matter what happens.

An Old Man’s Prayer

Forget me not O Lord in the evening of my days

Grant me the strength to go down on my knees

To thank Thee for Thine grace to see another day.

Help me remember my many friends and family

Those still here and also those gone before me.

Give me time to pass on Thine wisdom to those that

I may leave behind, that they may learn to please Thee.

Allow me the time  to right the many wrongs I have done

That I may clear my conscience and wait for thee.

Give me the strength to endure this frail body of mine

Give the hope that I may also enjoy the celestial body

Thou has promise me to be free from pain and suffering.

Lord come quickly I wait for thee my time here has well nigh ended.

Missing you

Just to be in the shadow of your smile

Just to be in the radiance of your eyes

Just to be in the scent of your perfume

Just to be able to hear the song of your voice

Just to hold you in my arms

Just to feel your soft silky skin

Just to be close by at your side

I miss you dearly my endless love . . .
