Our December Birthday Party

          December 8th, 2003

We closed out the year with another wonderful day and luncheon with so much good food for our last birthday of the year. Since we had a whole year to learn how to piece blocks, I think I was the lucky one as all the girls got so good at it and my blocks were just beautiful. They always say, "last but not least", :). Next year we won't be doing birthday blocks again, but we will do something else that will be lots of fun for all.

Bettie Presenting Jewel With A BIG Unexpected Surprise! Girls, I really appreciated that gift.

Betty N. giving her little "mini" Flying Geese block and we all laughed till we cried. She used her new ruler to cut out the pieces and they didn't exactly come out the right size, hehe.

Just look at all the beautiful blocks I have to make that very special quilt from all of you. Thank you all so much!!

We missed Joann again this time, but she was down in Miami for the birth of a beautiful new little grand daughter.

As we close this year and prepare to start another year, I can't begin to thank all of you for being such a wonderful family of sisters in Christ. We have shared some rough and tough times, but we have seen prayers answered and we have had lots of good times together. I look forward to another great year of fellowship and quilting with all of you.
