The Crafty Stitchers

          2004 Projects

Our first project for 2004,was a Stack and Whack wallhanging. Carolyn was our teacher for this project and she was so gracious and patient with all of us. It was a big challenge for most of us and it took longer than we had expected, but we did it, finally. JoAnn was not here, so she was late getting started on her's, but will soon have it finished.

Juanita tackled a little different project with her's and did this very pretty swing cushion.

Here most of our group shows our walhangings. Pat went for a quilt instead of just a wallhanging and is just about finished. They all turned out so different and pretty. JoAnn's is the work in progress on the table.

Hooray!! It's done. Although it was a bit long since it started in 2002, it did make it in 2004, :).

This is another one of our community projects that we did for the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Live Oak. We all made baby blankets, sheets and other useful baby items for them.

This is a project we did for some of the Florida men and women that have given their lives for our freedom in Iraq and Afganistan. Each block has his/her name, branch of service and other information about them.

These blocks have been sent to a group of women in Idaho to be made into quilts that will travel the U.S. military bases and state capitols to honor the killed in action.
