Ryot is my first dog (meaning his AKC and ASCA registration actually list ME as the owner), my first Australian Shepherd and my first show dog. I knew he was the one when I saw him flipping out of his little swimming pool at 4 weeks of age. All of the other puppies were good and stayed where they belonged, but not my boy Ryot. He was ready to get out and explore!
I have to admit his name fits him perfectly. He is such a handsome boy and he knows it! When he's not away at shows, he's usually running around our land, swimming in the creek or digging holes from here to China. He also throughly enjoys romping and playing with his brothers Lance and Cody (our Border Collie).
Ryot has a gorgeous head, ideal conformation and is very correct in movement. He is currently being shown in AKC and ASCA and is handled exclusively by myself.
Ryot's eyes were cleared on Feburary 23, 2006 through CERF (CERF # AS-7789N/2006--13). As soon as he turns two, he'll get his hips x-rayed and rated by OFA.
