The History of Man
Well, it all started 200,000 years ago, or was it 270,000 years? Hmm, can’t quite remember.
Anyway, it all started with the Mitochondrial Eve’s, or was it with Y Chromosone Man?
Gosh, it all seems terribly confusing now, it was so long ago!
Anyway, it was all to do with the arrival of Homo Sapien. DNAly speaking it appears that Neandertal and Homo Erectus and Cro-Magnon etc were but red-herring’s in the sea of suspicion and not the forerunners of who we are today (until some clever scientist discovers something new, or that we’d forgotten).
Be that as it may, it also appears that all the interesting action centre’s on Africa! Well, who’d have thought it? Not us sophisticated Westerner’s that’s for sure! (forgive me if a little irony enters stage left). So, Africa the hotbed of human development. Of course, the place was probably a little different back then.
You know, we tend to have a lot of perceptions of what’s real and true but actually, if you ever stop to collect a little more information (not what’s thrown at you by the common media, institutions, etc) and consider things a little more objectively (without institutionalised belief peering over your shoulder), then life can suddenly become full of interesting (frightening) possibilities. Are you ready to make the journey?
