Kitano on the other hand calmly explains that the latter was a no-good adult, & that if they don't behave, they too shall suffer the same fate. Enter: the video. Kitano plays a video explaining all the procedures of the Battle Royale, and what better way to present it than to hire a cute, pretty girl to explain it.(I just love her, & her voice!) She explains the whole nine, where they are(on a secured island) that they should keep moving, & not hide(waves are transmitted in every danger zone*it changes every hour*if someone is within the vicinity of the DZ, it will cause the metal collars they have on to explode. If they tried to escape, or cause havoc, it will explode. The time limit of the game (3 days only) if there is no winner by the third day, all the metal collars will explode. Every student gets a survival bag, in it: water, food, map, flashlight, and a weapon. |

All the contents of each bag are the same, except the Weapons. Random weapons are placed in each bag, a lucky student might get an Uzi, while an unlucky one may get a paper fan. I won't tell which ones, but two unfortunate students are going to be made examples of during the viewing of the video. Afterwards, each student is called by alphabetical order to be casted off to the battlefield. Each one is given a bag as they leave the class room, and after Nanahara was finally dismissed, he waits outside for Noriko. The moment Nanahara walks out he is greeted by a girl who got shot on the neck, by an arrow! and then another one on the leg. Then Akamatsu, her killer goes after Nanahara, who then throws his flashlight at Akamatsu who then falls on a ditch. Finding out he had lost his crossbow, another student grabs the crossbow, and shoots Akamatsu on the chest. Nanahara & Noriko hides themselves inside a cave, while a group captures Kiriyama,(1 of the 2 transfer students) he then kills everyone with an uzi. Megumi,(Noriko's best friend) by herself is hiding inside a barn, when she is killed by Mitsuko(Kou Shibasaki-this chick is gorgeous!) with a sickle, Youch! Other students who refuses to kill other fellow students, commited suicide by jumping off a cliff, and by hanging themselves. The following day, Kitano's voice can be heard on a loud speaker. He then proceeds to read a list of names, names of students who got killed the previous day. Also the list of D Z's. As the day begins, Nanahara, & Noriko is attacked by Oki, who along with Nanahara rolls down a hill only to be chopped on the head accidentally then dies. Oki's sister witnessing the whole incident, runs away scared. Motobuchi, shoots at Nanahara, only to be shot by Kawada(the other transfer) Kawada, seeing that Nanahara & Noriko are both without weapons, tells them both not to trust anyone, and leaves. Two helpless girls on a hilltop is gunned down by Kiriyama. While Mitsuko, sneaks up behind Nanahara & Noriko, but then decides to quit after seeing Kawada's shotgun. Mitsuko, goes back to where she killed Megumi, only to be ambushed by Hirono,(Megumi's friend) with a .45 pointed at Mitsuko, she takes the sickle Mitsuko had hidden on her back, asks if she had killed Megumi, with Mitsuko denying. Hirono, then started kicking Mitsuko, only to be zapped by a stun gun Mitsuko had hidden in her front pocket. Knocking the .45 off Hirono's hand, they both race for the gun, with Mitsuko winning however, Hirono gets shot on the back. Another student, Mimura, and two other friends managed to salvage a broken generator, enabling Mimura to hook up his laptop, to try to hack into the security system. Also to make homemade bombs. Meanwhile, Chigusa(Chiaki Kuriyama-a very cute girl too!) jogs down the hill only to be sexually harassed by Niida. Running after Chigusa, he asks her if she'd want to experience having sex at least once assuming that she is a virgin. Niida then points his crossbow(he killed Akamatsu) to Chigusa, telling her if she doesn't have sex with him, he'd shoot her. Chigusa then pulls out a huge blade, and chases Niida, stabbing him multiple times, on the back, on the chest, in the crotch, Ouch!. Out of nowhere comes Mitsuko, she fires several shots to Chigusa who manages to run away. However Chigusa isn't very lucky either, as she lay dying on the ground from Mitsuko's gunshots, Hiroki,(her jogging trainer & friend) appears to comfort her. As she dies, she reveals her crush for him. Back to Nanahara & Noriko, they somehow run into Kawada, this time offering his assistance, telling them that he was a survivor of a previous Battle Royale, 3 years ago. As they rested in Kawada's hideout,(a small shack) they are suddenly attacked by Kiriyama, who throws a grenade inside the shack blowing it into pieces of debris. The three gets seperated, Kawada takes care of Noriko, while Nanahara is pursued by Kiriyama. Kiriyama's uzi that seemed to have infinite bullets chases Nanahara up a cliff, forcing Nanahara to jump from it. Hiroki, out of nowhere comes into Nanahara's aid, by carrying him, & dropping him off a lighthouse(where a group of girls are also hiding out)Utsumi,Yukie, Yuko, Yuka, Satomi, & Chisato. Yuko,(Oki's little sister) is still pissed about what happened to her brother, and knowing that Nanahara was just upstairs,. She plans on poisoning his food, when feeding time comes. She then volunteers to serve his food, and proceeded to pour a bowl of soup. Having just dropped the poison in the soup, Yuka suddenlly grabs the bowl from Yuko's hands and proceeded to eat it. As the girls discuss what they should do next, Yuka spits blood, and dies. With their trust on each other wearing thin, they soon started to argue. Fed up with the whole things, Satomi picks up the sub-machine gun off the table, Chisato goes for the handgun on the table, and is shot by Satomi. Utsumi, & Yuka, both with handguns fires back at Satomi, whom at this point after getting shot, started to complain on how much it hurts getting shot. With no regard to her life or anyone's she runs towards Utsumi, & Yuka, while firing, gets on top of the table while still firing. Killing each, & everyone of themselves. Yuko, being the only one alive among the girls, due to guilt commits suicide by jumping off the lighthouse, and into sharp rocks below. Nanahara soon meets up with Noriko, & Kawada in the woods. Sugimura(Mimura's friend) is accidentally shot & killed by the girl(Kotohiki) he loves. Who in turn, gets shot & killed by Mitsuko. Who then is shot & killed by Kiriyama. Mimura, along with his two buddies are finished building the bomb, and is ready to deploy it, but not after successfully hacking into the system. Turning off all sensors, D Z's, the exploding metal collars, unfortunately however, the students had no way of knowing this however, after the hack job, Kiriyama out of nowhere opens fire killing Mimura, & his two buddies. Setting off the bomb as well. Because it is night time, Nanahara, Noriko, & Kawada, heads to the explosion.... CLICK TO CONTINUE |
