| Paulo 31LG operates from the Minho region in north Portugal, near the old historical city of Guimaraes. In 1999, I had the pleasure of meeting Paulo and his family. | Fred 26CN069 is Founder Chairman of the Charlie November Group, located in the county of Norfolk, England. Fred started on CB in the early 1980's. His other interests include jet-skiing, and collecting records (over 4000). He also runs the Norfolk branch of ChildLine, a childrens charity. | From north eastern Italy, the late Sergio 1NY101, who use to make almost daily trips into the Pacific region on 11 Meters. Sergio took up dx-ing in 1992 and two months later joined the North Yorkshire International Group. One of the best operators I have met on the air. Sadly, Sergio passed away some years ago. |
