I am really getting into this hobby of backpacking.  So far I’ve backpacked 1598 miles of the Appalachian Trail.  I never thought that I’d enjoy backpacking this much.  It’s a lot of work, but in its own way, it’s very relaxing.

Second Hike:                     - Delaware Water Gap to Culver Lake, NJ ( 27.2 miles )

Third Hike:                         - Culver Lake, NJ to Greenwood Lake, NY ( 47.3 miles )

Spring Break 2007 Hike:    - The Great Smoky Mountains ( 2 days )

Summer 2007 Hike:           - Springer Mountain, Georgia to Pearisburg, Virginia ( 51 days )

Fall 2007 Hike                    - VA 630 Sinking Creek south to Pearisburgg, VA ( 41.2 miles, 3 1/2 days )

Spring Break 2008 Hike     - VA 630 Sinking Creek south to Jennings Creek, VA  ( 80.3, 7 1/2 days )

Summer 2008 Hike:           - Jennings Creek, VA to Bennington, VT ( sskipped over NJ ), ( 767.9 miles, 51 days )

Spring Break 2009 Hike     - I have no idea where I will be hiking for this hike.

Summer 2009 Hike:           - Bennington, VT to Mt. Katahdin, ME ( 5788 miles left to go. )
