2. Were you named after anyone? Yes. My name is Keith Thomas Sydney James Hale. Keith, Sydney and James were doctors that were involved with my mother’s pregnancy and my delivery. Thomas is my father’s name.

3. Do you wish on star? I have never wished upon anything. I do pray to God the Father through Jesus Christ, his only begotten son. I have lots of stories about answered prayer. I pray for very specific things vice general prayers and Jesus answers those prayers.

4. When did you last cry? My buddy’s retirement ceremony. I always cry at retirement ceremonies.

6. What is your favorite meal? Steak and Lobster with Strawberry Shortcake for desert.

7. What is your most embarrassing CD on your shelf? I am not embarrassed at any of my music and it covers a wide range of genres. Now I have stuff I play that make people look at me and role their eyes. Most of it is ethnical music like: Greek, Andes Mountains, Celtic stuff.

8. If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you? Yes, but it would be difficult. I butt heads with people like me. I am a strong “Alpha-type” personality – very opinionated. I am also quite a joker who doesn’t take things as seriously as I probably should.

9. Are you a daredevil? Not really. I am not afraid to try new things, but I approach most things cautiously.

10. Have you ever told a secret you swore not to tell? Of course I have. It’s human nature.

11. How do you release anger? It takes a lot to get me going. My wife is amazed at how well I control my anger, but once it goes… look out. I tend to lash out, accuse and bounce off the walls like some hyper active kid.

12. Where is your second home? Ridgway Pennsylvania is my “home of record.” My primary home is where the Navy sends me and currently it is in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

14. What was your favorite toy? Star Wars action figures. I am 36 and still collect them today.

15. What class in school do you think is totally useless? A second language class. I have always steered away from them. The average person barely has command of the English language and yet they want to learn another language. Not I.

17. What do you look for in a girl? I am not looking for a girl – I’ve got a great wife. When I was looking, I was looking for a big chest - which the wife has.

19. Would you bungee jump? I’d have to pass on that one.

20. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Not unless I have to.

21. What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Heavenly Hash or Rocky Road.

22. What is/are your favorite color(s)? Blues and Greens.

23. What is your least favorite thing? Standing Watch on duty days. I hate duty and I hate standing watches even more. 24 hours, sleep on board the ship, away from my family, duty – yuck!

24. How many people do you have a crush on right now? None.

25. What do you miss most right now? First my wife, who is visiting her mother and father in Pennsylvania. Next: Those care-free days of yesteryear when I hadn’t a care nor responsibility in the world.

27. What are you listening to right now? Irish pub songs from the IRISH VILLIAGE in the Dubia Sports Complex in the United Arab Emerates.

28. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Navy Blue.

29. What is the weather like right now? Cloudy and cold.

30. Last person you talked to on the phone? My wife who is visiting her family in Pennsylvania.

31. The first thing you notice about the opposite sex? No Comment.

32. Do you like the person who sent you this? Yes I do. Her name was Sophie and she and her family have been close friends.

33. How are you today? Fair to medium. I just got off a week’s leave for Thanksgiving and hunting and should be refreshed. Then I got to work and there have been numerous issue to deal with. Sometimes I think I am a fireman with all the “fires” I have to put out.

34. Favorite drink? The one I chose most often is Pepsi. I do like apple cider in the fall.

35. What is your Favorite alcoholic drink? I don’t drink. When I turned 21, I celebrated with a Pepsi. When I shot my first buck on December 2nd, 1991, the guys at deer camp wanted me to celebrate with a Papst Blue Ribbon - NASTY stuff. In May of 1996 when my ship pulled into Pearl Harbor, me and some of the guys when to a Micro-brewery in Honolulu that made their own beer. I sampled a small sip of one, but was more interested in consuming my cheese fries.

52. Do you regret ever breaking up with someone? I broke up with my last girl friend because she was running around. Had I not done that, I never would have pursued the girl that would later become my wife. So no I do not regret breaking up.
