Step 1)
First you will need to paint the face on the large hat, beginning with the off white paint paint the whole top portion of the hat, let dry. Now with the pink paint the cheeks, then using the burgundy paint the nose, with the white paint the round eyes, let dry. lastly with the black paint the outline for the mouth, nose and eyes.

Step 2)
Using the brown, paint the complete "welcome" sign when it has dried outline each letter with the light brown paint and add dots to the inside of the lettering.

Step 3
Wrap and glue the work gloves round the bottom of the grapevine wreath making sure you have the left and right hands properly placed, Cut a large piece of raffia and tie into a bow, glueing it onto the grapevine wreath between the two gloves . Now Glue the welcome sign to the top of your wreath, also glue a few artificial leaves round it.

Step 4)
Glue some raffia onto the top of the scarecrow's head (for hair)  leave it long (you can cut it after to the length you wish) You will need to cut the smaller straw hat in half, once you have done this cut a strip off your plaid shirt and glue a band round the half hat adding the plastic pumpkin and gourds to the rim of the half hat. Now you may glue the half hat onto the scarecrow's head and to the larger hat.

Step 5)
Next you will be cutting a fairly large strip from your plaid shirt to make a bandana, tie it and then glue round the underside of the scarecrow's face. Lastly you will need to cut the raffia hair to the length you wish.
