Step 1)
First with the black paint draw your outline of the opening you would like, then fill in the outlined portion with black paint. ( your project will look streaky for the first coating of paint, don't worry about that, your second coating should take care of that.. sometimes a third coating is needed)
Step 2)
Next section off the outline of your opening, alternating between the indian red and the burnt sienna this gives the edge of the opening depth, now paint the eyes yellow, and then the claws green.
Step 3)
Now you will need to repeat step 1 & 2. After your pumpkin has completely dried you may now add the finishing touches, add a small thin line to each of the claws along the length of the nail, also a thicker line of white across the top of each claw. With the green paint add a thin line to the top of the eyes.
Step 4)
The final step is to take and outline everything one more time with the black paint. |
