The Copper Mountain College (CMC) Greenleaf Library is here to support the needs of every student. The library has up to date research materials, from literature and entertainment, to fiction and nonfiction.
A majority of students have taken advantage of this fabulous place in order to find information that is required by their professors. Many students believe that the Internet can provide all the material that is needed for research, but there are other sources to be considered. Not only does the library provide you with Internet access, it is your one stop shopping for additional information in print. CMC student Ben Paton stated, �Doing research for my History 18 class, I could not find a specific name on the Internet (where everyone begins their search these days) so I used the periodicals.� By using the periodicals, Paton found who he was looking for and was able to successfully complete his paper.
The Greenleaf Library is arranged in a fashion to accommodate the CMC students� varied tastes. You can study alone at a desk or table, or students can get into a group and utilize one of the two enclosed rooms that are equipped with a television and VCR.
If you need a reference book but cannot find it, the staff at the library can aid you with your search with just a few key strokes. Many times, the front desk is maintained by one of your fellow students, so there is no need to be shy about asking for help.
The library also can provide students with books that are required for a particular class, but the instructor must have that volume on reserve with the library. This particular reading material can only be used in the facility so it can remain available to others.
