Spring Fling

Copper Mountain College (CMC) is anxiously awaiting the upcoming Spring Fling event on April 20, 2005 from noon to 3:00 PM. Students are excited about the plans for this semester spectacular peer-planned event. Committee member, Margaret Manter stated that Faculty Karaoke is one of the many possibilities. Music will once again be booked by Mike Perez, who played in the Fall Fling.
Fall Fling was a complete success last semester. The ambiance was great, the food was great, the music was perfect, the weather was phenomenal, and the Mock Vote rocked the school. The only problem was that not many students knew about it, regardless of all the advertising for it by student government. Many students did not know that this wonderful event was happening in Phase III, and left after class. Students and faculty agreed that it was one of the best bands that had played at CMC. They also hung up a volleyball net and had students play against the faculty.
If interested in auditioning for the Spring Fling, contact Student Government Vice President, Melinda Robinson every Thursday at noon in Room 2. To share ideas for Spring Fling, don�t hesitate to visit ASCMC. To volunteer for set up, contact Mindy Robinson or anyone in the Spring Fling committee. Don�t miss it this year, bring friends and family.
