Rotaract Club

The Morongo Basin Rotaract Club is a fresh and new service club to the community. Only having started since February of this year, the members are eager and willing to get everything booming and encourage more people to join.
The club was created by Meghan Cosgroff and Christina Benton, who had currently been helping with the Twentynine Palms High School Interact club, when they decided to come up with the Rotaract club; a club that can be found all around the world.
�We began this club in the hopes of getting young adults involved in the community,� said Cosgroff.
Rotaract is for anyone between the ages of 18 and 30, and who are willing to participate. Currently the club is helping with service projects with the Twenytnine Palms Interact Club (a similar service club for teenagers).
�We�re hoping to take on some big things of our own. One idea we�ve come up with is to bring back the Miss Twentynine Palms pageant,� commented Cosgroff.
The meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM, in the Copper Mountain College Greenleaf Library�s conference room, located in phase II.
