Visitor
Guides Arriving Soon!
In February,
we will be receiving the 2004 versions of the Fort Collins CVB
visitor guide, the Official State Vacation Guide and the
Greeley Visitor Guide. A quiz will be placed on the
website by March 5th to be printed out for each of you to go
over as part of the Spring Refresher Training. Please do this
quiz by April 5th.
Orders for the Fort Collins guide are
coming in to the CWC phone, please take down these orders for
me by taking the name of the business, the amount requested
and a contact number and leave them for me on the desk.

New Coffee
System Arriving!
The old
coffee system went belly up during the second to last week of
January and so we are purchasing a new coffee maker and coffee
pots. The old system will be uninstalled and the new system
will be installed within the next week or so depending on the
difficulty of installation.
It is my hope to have the new
system up and running without incident by the first of
February barring any shipping and receiving and installation
problems.
The new system will be a different brand but will
work on the same principal and the new coffee airpots will
work along the same lines as the smaller airpot.

MEETINGS AND IMPORTANT DATES
New Travel Counselor Training
A new
travel counselor training session will be held on Thursday,
February 12, 2004 from 9:30--12 that will incorporate
the classroom training and building tours. If you know of
someone who is interested in becoming a travel counselor,
please have them turn in their application and attend this
training on the 12th.
Monthly Travel Counselor Meeting
Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 10 a.m.
Please
come and join us for the latest news, changes and
updates. I am hoping to have a guest speaker to come and
visit with us. As always, these meetings are a great source of
knowledge for all travel counselors and we encourage you to
attend when you are able.

February Fort Fun Mixer
Wednesday, February 18, 2004 from 5:30--7:30 p.m.
The
Fort Collins Convention and Visitors Bureau invites you to
join them at Fort Fun for their Annual February Mixer! The
Food and Drinks are on them--Games and such are up to the
individual. Families are welcome! RSVP by February 13th to

sure to take out the register key at night to reduce the risk
of unwanted/untracked sales rung into the register. If you
make a mistake on the register, simply press CASH/TEND and
save the receipt for the manager to fix it
later.
