CASE #0014707
Emeril Lagasse

Charges: Criminal Seasoning, 1st degree; 10 counts

It is alleged that on August 1, 2005, Mr. Lagasse did deliberately and with premeditation kick up crab bisque one notch too many. "The garlic I could handle," one witness reported, "but the Essence just burned my tongue. 'Bam!' he screamed."

Sentence: Time served; Mr. Lagasse has been ordered by the court not to purchase cayenne pepper, cumin, or chili powder.

CASE #2633578
Lenny Kravitz

Charges: Impersonation, 1st degree

Witnesses have reported that Kravitz, 41, has impersonated rock legend Jimi Hendrix since at least 1989. "I turned on the radio," one account stated, "and thought it was Hendrix, but it was too sanitized and derivative. The resemblance is uncanny, though." A search revealed several fuzz and wah-wah pedals.

Sentence: Charges were dropped, but an injunction now prevents Kravitz from performing "Purple Haze" or "All Along the Watchtower."

CASE #8903344
Dave Chappelle

Charges: Felony Impression Abuse; 3 counts

Mr. Chappelle has allegedly used his comedy program, The Chappelle Show, to distribute illegal quantities of impressions to the public. "Countless teenagers are now pretending to be Rick James, Prince, or crack addicts," stated DA Jim Smith. "And they're not funny at all," he added.

Sentence: 10 to 15 years practicing stand-up in comedy clubs
