When Piper was 12, her father passed away in a hospital from a steer wrestling incident. Evidently when he was getting off of the horse to 'tackle' the steer, the horn pierced his stomach, causing a lot of internal bleeding.
Two days after her father's funeral, a horse was delivered to her mother's ranch for Piper. One that her father had purchased for her on her 13th birthday. Golden Fury was the buckskin mare's name, and carried Piper to many victories in the rodeo world. Goldie, as she was familiarly known in the barn, was pregnant and gave birth to Piper's gelding know, Black Fury.
Piper was a sucessful High School Rodeo runner, and made it to State Finals the last three years she was in High School. All acomplished on Black Fury.
The day she turned 18, March 2, she got away from her home and moved to Heaven Sent to start living on her own. She developed a boarding stable called River Bend Ranch. Enrolling in the University, Piper passed the trainer's test with flying colors and is now working as a trainer in the Western World, hoping to make her name popular in Logan, HS.
