Coven of Nocturnal Mist

It is the goal of The Coven of Nocturnal Mist to build a
coven that is created out of individuals with strong beliefs while placing an
emphasis on individual thinking and continuing self improvement. We do not discriminate against race or sexual
orientation. We are a female only coven. We are not a Wiccan coven. It is of our opinion that the
Wiccan religion is a watered down version of true Witchcraft, we do not
follow the Wiccan rede. We are binded only by our own responsibilities and
individual morals, and of course the laws of Karma. The Coven of Nocturnal Mist has a very specific rede, (NEED
TO DO A REDE) we feel that each individual should also have their own rede. In
our coven, each member shall respect their elders in ways of magick. While
there is a respected leader; we all come to the coven with our strengths and
weakness' learning and teaching each other and encouraging individual thought.
Our goal is to have no followers only leaders working together as individuals
who from a whole. Each member will have a designated place of power in the
coven. Witch wars will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Respect of every member should be extended. If you cannot get along with
everyone, you will be made to leave. There will be a strict code of confidentiality. Every
thing we do in ritual is done in the confidence that it never leaves the
coven. The information our members share with us will remain confidential.
While we are not violent, vengeful or cruel, we do not
believe in turning the other cheek. We believe that sometimes magick is
necessary in terms of self defense, retaliation and
the protection of loved ones. In saying so, yes we will use our magick if we
feel completely justified. We will also use our magick for positive causes.
Solitary ritual is encouraged as long as our members keep
in mind that as a coven, each and every action you take magickally reflects
upon your coven sisters. Working magick is similar to sex, be very careful
whom you play with. You can be banished for improper use and
participation in unauthorized ritual. As a coven it is our duty to become an extended family to
one another. To help each other out whether it be in need of a shoulder to
cry on or help with your magickal skills. Each member will be required to follow the coven rede as
well as their own rede which will have to be approved by the coven elders. |
