The Lion's Mane-- a story I wrote as a loose adaptation of the Hindu tale of Mahisha-Asura for Literature and the Arts. Do some research if you want to figure it out, but otherwise, I think it's a relatively entertaining story. I had a brief retelling of the myth in the essay I wrote to go with this, but who wants to read an essay?
Painkillers-- the first writing assignment in fiction. This is the one I put in the anthology, despite complaints from Michael that it seemed more like a screenplay than a work of fiction.
Big Man...-- to start, the story still needs editing, but I'm okay with it, personally. The second writing assignment in fiction. If you don't get the title, look up "Big Man With A Gun"; if you don't get the dedication, read "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?" by Joyce Carol Oates.
From Ambrosia-- my ongoing project. It's about a girl who dies and is turned into a pretty cool goddess. I've just put a tiny piece up here. Note: the breaks don't show up, and the perspective changes a couple times from first to third person. Keep an eye on it.
