| Class info: |
| Classic positions and technique for the beginning student as well as the younger experienced student. This class includes 15 mins. of barrework, a year long syllabus of classic ballet steps and combinations. Ballet is a structured, basis for all other forms of dance. |
| Tap classes always include barrework plus a year long syllabus of basic and intermediate steps, time steps and combinations. |
| A fusion of contemporary styles and classic jazz. This class begins with barrework and includes isolation, floorwork, and combinations to upbeat, age appropriate music. |
| A classic ballet class for the more experienced student. More advanced technique and terminology - with pre-pointe specific exercises to strengthen the student for pointe shoes when deemed appropriate by the instructors. |

| We are best known for our innovative techniques in teaching the art of dance and creating a rewarding experience for each student. Our goal is for every student to work to the best of their ability and develop a positive self image. We believe that dance is a performing art that should be accessible to every child and that competition between dancers is unnecessary. Our program is based on the philosophy that every child deserves a chance to dance without the need for expensive dancewear or outrageous recital expenses. The safety of our students is our first priority. We do not advertise our recitals or take part in any public performances. We are the only instructors and we team teach every class. We have completed rigorous school safety requirements : drug testing, S.T.A.R. training, background checks, fingerprinting. There are no "combination classes". We feel that it takes a full class time to devote to the study of a performing art. Every 45 minute class includes barrework, technique and French terminology. |
