Courtney has written Pop/Country songs with various musicians and songwriters. Her main focus has always been Latin/Pop music. She started singing in a band with her father, Alec Beaton, who has been a local musician for over 30 years, in her native Syracuse, New York area. She formed a four piece band with him called Courtney & Quintessence, in which she was the lead singer.The group performed a wide variety of cover music from many genres which included songs from Pop, Jazz, Tejano, Latin, R&B, Country.
Courtney moved to Nashville in 2008, and collaberated with musicians and songwriters where she composed Pop/Country music. She recorded original music with Steve Rutledge, via Steel Strings Productions in Nashville,TN.She performed at many venues in Nashville, as well as full shows performing covers and originals. She released a CD called “This Love of Mine”, in 2013, and received a Sammy Award, as she was chosen for Best Country CD at the 2013 Syracuse Area Music Awards Celemony.
Courtney is now living in Orlando, Fl and is currently recording original music, in a duo called Notable Two.
