It was a chilly day in Capeside, Andie McPhee was sitting in her bedroom brushing her pale blonde hair, singing along to the new N'SYNC song, she paused for a second to look at the picture of her and Pacey taped to her mirror, she started remembering, the great and not so great times they had shared together, how happy they had once been together, and how because of one horrible mistake she had made it had all come to an end. Her thoughts were interrupted by her brother Jack's voice calling her.. Andie ?, Jack! Don't do that your startled me, well I just wanted to tell you to get a move on or your going to be late, plus Will's downstairs waiting for you. Oh right, I told him I would show him around on his first day at Capeside High.

Downstairs at the McPhee's

Hey Andie, you look nice, you about ready to go ? asked Will Hey, Yea just let me grab my bag and ill be all set.

Oh I hope you don't mind I told Pacey we would pick him up, the guys been so miserable lately since Joey said she only wanted them to be friends.

"Mind ? , why would I mind", (Its just my exboyfriend who just tried to get with one of my good friends), thought Andie nervously

"great let's go"

hmmm. Pacey upset because Joey just wants to be friends, thought Andie, interesting, well serves him right for trying to take his best friends girl Andie said to herself she immediately scolded herself for thinking such horrible thoughts, Pacey and her had broken up and he was free to have feelings for whomever he wanted, but still the thought of him and Joey together seemed unsettling to Andie. Pacey and her hadn't exactly been that friendly lately, so a ride to school with her, Will and, Pacey was not something she was looking forward too, she thought as she climbed into Will's jeep.

::Beep Beep::: Yo Witter, today!! Lets get a move on it! yelled Will as he stuck his head out the jeep window.

"Alright alright don't get too hostile on me, I mean we all know how arousing a first day at Capeside High is, with its fine, Scholastic offerings and all but trust me it will not make a hell of a difference if were late or not," Unless your an uptight control freak like McPhee over here, then being some much as a minute late can ruin your whole day. ":joked Pacey as he climbed into Will's Jeep

"Well Pacey you may find this hard to believe but some people actually care about their education, and their future consists of something more than stocking the New Releases and stacking the boxes of Goobers" commented Andie

"Well McPhee aren't we the little comedian this morning,

Shut up Pacey!

"Awwww, What's wrong all out of Perky/Peppy/Happy pills at the drug store

Andie just looked over at home, then quickly looked away

Pacey had forgotten Andie's mother was taking antidepressants to help with her mental instability. He immediately felt horrible and wish he could take it back, but it was too late. The Damage was done and he could see that by the hurt look in Andie's eyes.

All Right all right you two , can we please just call a truce and, get to school in one piece.

Neither of them said anything the rest of the ride to school. As soon as the Jeep pulled into the parking lot, Andie immediately got out of the car and started walking away from the car, Pacey was right behind her.

"Andie wait a minute, I didn't mean..."

"You didn't mean what Pacey, that im some sort of mental head case"

"No listen I can explain"

"Don't bother!, you know Pacey, lately I feel like I don't even know who you are anymore." said Andie on the verge of tears

Just then Will came up behind Andie, drawing his arms around her waist, he bent down and gently whispered in her ear how about giving me the grand tour now.

Love too said Andie without even looking back at Pacey.

At Lunchtime:

Andie and Will were seated next to each other at their own private table in the cafeteria, looking quite cozy together.

Pacey sat on the opposite side alone, watching Andie and Will, his face showed a look of anger, hurt and betrayal. He had felt horrible about the way things with Andie turned out earlier, but why was seeing those two together bothering him so much. After all it was him that decided he and Andie should no longer see eachother.

He thought about it for a moment then chided himself "why should he care who Andie dates", she obviously didn't care what he did, because when he confessed about his feelings for Joey, she hadn't said anything to him about it, so he figured it was fine with her, and that if she had moved on , he would do the same.

His thoughts were interrupted by the site of Dawson and Joey coming toward him carrying their lunch trays.
