for Making Individual Votive Tags

| Use this template to create tags resembling those
that mark the scent on the votive packs. I use these for giving away
individual votives for hostess bonus gifts, party prizes, etc. Print
them out on heavy card stock paper (preferably tan or a light brown) and
cut each one out. Then punch a fancy hole at the top. I bought
some crinkly cellophane paper at Hobby Lobby in the gift wrap
section. I cut a square of this, place the votive in the center,
wrap it out, and take the fabric that came on the pack of votives (split
it into 3-4 pieces) and tie it around the candle and slip the end through
the tag. It looks real nice! Change the font if you
desire. I used a font called "Andy." After
purchasing the votives with our 50% discount, each individual votive is
only $1 (a very affordable and very nice gift, not to mention that they
may like the votive so much that they come back for more)! |
