Top Ten Ways To Ensure a GREAT
Gathering:
- Set a sales goal for
your Gathering and let your Peddler know what it is so you can work
TOGETHER to achieve it!!
- Have
a FULL guest list!! The more people you invite, the better your attendance
will be. Ask your Peddler if you need help thinking of people to invite.
- Make
"reminder" calls to those who will be attending. Encourage them
to bring a friend!
- Share
your catalogs with those who won't be able to attend and ask them if
they'd like to place an order. Just because they can't make the Gathering
doesn't mean they have to miss out on the collectibles!
- Choose
the collectibles you'd like to receive FREE or at a discount BEFORE the
Gathering!! Be ready to show your selections at the Gathering!
- Have
a TV and VCR available for your Peddler. She'll have a GREAT video to
share with you and your guests! Don't worry if your VCR is in another
room. The video is very brief and guests can easily step into the other
room to view it!
- If
you have children, plan for a babysitter and encourage your guests to do
the same. Every mom deserves a "night off" and your Gathering is
perfect for the occasion!
- Keep
your refreshments simple so YOU can enjoy the Gathering! Buffet-style
works well and allows guests to serve themselves.
- Encourage
your friends and family members to book a Gathering and receive THEIR
favorite collectibles FREE!
- Plan
on CLOSING your Gathering within three days or less. The sooner you do,
the sooner your collectibles will be delivered right to your door!
