Journal Entry for Sat., March 29, 2001
Well, theres a lot behind this show. We first heard about it a week before it was going
on, thanks to the good people from Random. This lack of notice gave us little time to
get ready, but we managed to do so just fine. We introduced many new songs such as
"Find A Reason," "Depressant (MBH cover)," "Welcome to My Life (revised)," and "intro
song." I'd like to thank Mike K. and Cory F. for being the only ones to come out that
night to see us. Everyone else was there for Random, oh well. The place we played
rocked. They had a stage w/ a PA system, a huge ass TV in back, a drink bar (which gave
bands free Red Bull and Jones Soda), and a game room complete with foos ball and air
hockey. We had a really kickin playlist lined up that went really well. The thing that
sucked was that out of all three horn players, only Mike Gould could make it, but he
rocked, so go him. We played first and then Random. After that I had a genius idea to go
back up and do some improv with some other people. We really sucked up the stage, but
the people seemed to liked it, so it was okay. From now on though, the band promises
to never go out so disgracfully again (unless you really want us too...).
