| 5/19/02 the show on friday kicked ass! an hour and a half drive in the rain, an audience of less than 10, no set list, and we'd practiced once in the past month.. but we also had kids skating inside during the show, cheezy bread, a good sound system, and the crowd we did have was the most energetic in our short history. thanx to the kids of paulding for making it a fun time, and thanx to selery for inviting us. 2/5/02 you may have noticed that we've had a couple shows posted for luke's barn the past couple months that just disappeared a few weeks later. sorry. we were having some communication problems getting that place rented. but we finally have one set in stone, the show on march 9th will happen. so be there! 12/9/01 we've been asked to play at "rock against racism" in nashville in february or march. we'll post details as soon as we know them. 11/19/01 big thanx to everyone who came out to see us at our first real show. we had a lot of fun and the crowd was awesome. the free stuff seemed to go over pretty well too. we'll have to do that again. 10/11/01 blake has taken over on drums. we'll be spending the next month practicing our asses off for the show. 9/30/01 i'm finally updating this site! we've been struggling the past couple months cuz we've all gotten so busy, but hopefully we'll be back in action soon. unfortunately brian (the drummer) has left the band. we do have someone else lined up tho. so if you're reading this, thanx for sticking with us and we hope to see you at a show soon. 7/7/01 last nite was not one of our better shows. we couldn't get the generator so we had to run about 300' of extension cord, but fortunately nothing blew up. we played outside in front of about 20 people who - with the exception of 4 or 5 friends of ours - ignored us completely. we could hardly hear each other and ended up sounding pretty bad. what's the point played a good set but by the time shatter got up it was too dark to play. and there were only like 5 people left in the crowd anyway, so we gave up and left. 5/2/01 well the show went as well as could be expected after only being together for 4 weeks, and we got lots of canned goods. so overall it was a success. but we're not gonna do another show for a while, until we actually sound good. 4/23/01 hey we got a name! and with 4 or 5 practices behind us we're ready for the show. we hope... 4/14/01 well we just got started up and have a few of our own songs, but we still have to settle on a name. hopefully we'll have one by our first show :) |
