Dear Ward Two Neighbor:
Let me begin by wishing you a happy and prosperous 2005!   As I look back on my first year of service as your councilman, I am very pleased with the long list of accomplishments achieved, thus far, and excited and steadfast to keep up the momentum.   The previous Council and Administration were often unable to work together for the good of our City.   Because of this gridlock, little was accomplished.   However, our current leadership exhibits a fresh new perspective characterized by a spirit of teamwork and professionalism that has begun to put our City back on the right track.   I am committed to furthering our efforts to strengthen our community.   In fact, through continuing to work with you, the residents, Mayor DePiero and his administration, my colleagues on Parma City Council, the business community, nonprofit orginizations and other stakeholders in our community, I believe that this year will be the most positive and successful for Parma in recent memory.
When you elected me to lead Ward 2 in November 2003, I resolved to work my hardest on your behalf to ensure your city government works for you.   Therefore, I have worked non-stop to assist you by returning your phone calls and emails promptly, visiting your homes when necessary and keeping you informed of the local issues affecting your life with regular ward meetings and newsletters.   In keeping with my commitments, this interactive website will serve to continue to inform you of recent accomplishments in our Ward, how I have worked with other City leaders to resolve the problems of the past and strengthen City services, as well as current initiatives.
As you may know, 2005 represented an election year for me already.   Serving you continues to be an honor and I am overjoyed that you rewarded my efforts with a vote of "YES" at the polls in the Primary Election held on Tuesday, May 3rd.   My commitment to you is to continue to be a responsive councilman and to work hard to improve the quality of life in OUR Ward and City.   As always, if I may be of assistance, please feel free to contact me.   Best wishes as the warm weather finally starts to move in. Sincerely,
Councilman Sean Brennan |
