We've sketched out our layout and have started construction of some small props, but the larger items will have to wait until closer to October.
Our story leads trick-or-treaters through Skull Cemetery and challenges them to continue on the path into Skull Woods to encounter Captain Cutthroat and his ghost pirate crew.
Planned projects for 2006
WRECKED PIRATE SHIP
Using old skids and a tree in the yard as a mast
DRY CREEK BED
Possibly using black plastic to create the 'bed' and adding rocks and skulls
BRIDGE
Using skids to make a bridge over the creek bed
CAVE
The back deck will become the treasure cave
TREASURE CHEST
Completed... picture coming soon!
SCARE TACTIC
We must have some scare in the deck so we'll need to construct a cage or rig up the chest to slam for an added startle.
SIGNS
Signs are made but must be painted for Skull Woods. We'll need a new sign for Skull Cemetery.
