SKULL WOODS 
Find Captain Cutthroat's treasure... if you can make it past his ghostly pirate crew
These woods have been known as Skull Woods since settlers first entered this region and found a clearing in the woods next to a dried up creek bed covered in the skulls and bones of hundreds of men. 
Some were still dressed in remnants of their pirate attire.  In the distance part of a pirate ship was visible that had run aground.

Who were these men?  Did their souls still roam these grounds?
Those settlers built a graveyard on these grounds now known as Skull Cemetery where they buried some of the men.  But the ghostly moans and screams of the pirate crew scared them off before all the pirates could be buried.  Now those pirates haunt these grounds along with the worst of them... Captain Cutthroat.
Captain Cutthroat had brought his crew down a small branch of the Susquehanna River that had run through these woods to find a suitable place to hide his treasure. 

Once he found a good location he proceeded to slit the throats of each of his crew so that none of them could take it from him and their ghosts would be compelled to guard the treasure for him for all eternity. 

However as he slit the last man's throat, the pirate crewman had just enough strength to kill the Captain before dying himself. 

No one knows where the treasure is buried, but if you can brave the ghostly pirate crew of Skull Woods, the treasure could be yours. 

But Captain Cutthroat will not be happy if he catches you in his woods!
