Tip 6 Tip 7 Tip 8 Tip 9 Tip 10

Note that as many of you will have found out, the manual negates to tell you a large number of things, amongst others they read as follows:

  1. When building a de Dion chassis and using the 7,5 inch rear diff and driveshafts from a Cosworth, take note that you will have to change the left side (standing behind the car) rubber CV boot (on the diff side) for the smaller version from a drumbraked Sierra as these are smaller.  Aparently, these are a stretch to fit, but they do fit.  I will let you know when I have tried. The reason for doing this, is because the Cossie boot will otherwise make contact with the A-frame and wear through.   (Back)
  1. Solution to CV bolts touching shock  (Back)
  2. When installing the hubs, check and re-check the direction of the thread
