Although I realise that absolutely NOBODY will read this page - well somebody might now that I've put the links on this page - I want to take this opportunity to thank the people closest to me for putting up with 'my stuff' as they like to refer to it.
I want to thank my parents for the incessant patience they have shown throughout this
project (even though mum still thinks it's all a load of nonsense and an absolute waste of
money - women!). Not only having had to endure my ramblings about the car and the ways
that I was going to tackle it for months on end, but also for putting up with the fact
that the driveway and garage was slowly starting to look more like a scrap yard than a
modest looking suburban dwelling. Still, warm felt thanks go out to mum for putting up
with the greasy fingers that have (Apparently) found their way onto everything throughout
the whole house - wasn't me gov, 'onset!.
I want to also thank my brother for accompanying me on the various road trips around the
country looking for parts, waiting for me whilst I spent 'a little' time talking about
this project and cars in general to various people. My thanks already go out to my
girlfriend for getting involved with me and thus accepting something she has NO IDEA of
how it will impact her life (talk to the a fore mentioned and you will get some idea), but
also for showing an interest in something she really has little interest in but putting up
with it none the less - especially when I am sorting out wiring diagrams (ONLY took every
night for about a month!).
Finally I would like to thank Stephan (from Alfa
Super Stephan web-site & Squadra tuning fame) for all
the help and advice (that has already saved me money) on how I should build my car and pit
falls to avoid, and to all the other people who have helped me in someway with this
project.
In addition to the people mentioned above, there were a number of specific companies that
helped me along the way. I would like to thank them by giving them some free plugs
below.
