York District } On the 29th of Jan, 1850
personally appeared before me A.S. Wallace, a Magistrate in
and for the said District, Elizabeth Marsh, a
resident of the said District, aged 86 years,
Who being first duly sworn according to law
doth on her oath, make the following declaration
in order to obtain the benefit of the provision
made by the Act of Congrys passed on the 2nd
of February, 1848 granting Pensions to widows
of Soldiers who served during the Revolutionary
War. Also the benefit of the Joint Resolution of the
1st of July 1848, that she is the widow of the Rev’d
Robert Mursh late Pensioner dec’d of the District
of York, and State aforesaid at the rate of $96.00
per annum. That she was married to the said Robert
Mursh in the month of August 1782, and that
her husband, the aforesaid Robert Mursh died
on Seventh December 1837. She further declares that
she has drawn a Pension at the rate of $80.00 per
annum, under the Act of the 29th of July 1848,
and has been paid up to 4th September, 1849.
She further declares that she is still a widow.
Sworn to and subscribed on the day and year
