State of South Carolina } this day personally before me
Lincoln County } a Justice of the peace for said
County came Vincent Allen and made oath in due form
of ____ and saith that Robert Mursh a private in Capt
Kirkpatricks Company formerly in Colonel Phebeckers Regiment
but marched out under Colonel Posey to Ebenezer, in the State
of Georgia whose was joined by Gen Wayne and the said Vincent
Allen further saith that he knew the said Robert Mursh to have
faithfully performed his tour of duty as a Continental the
Revolutionary War on or about the year 1782 and that he was
regularly and honorably discharged about the close of the war
at S. Carolina and further the said Vincent Allen saith not sworn
to before me this 8th day of October 1818. Vincent Allen
