I also further certify in the case
of Robert Mursh, that I am well ac-
quainted with him, that he is a very
aged infirm poor man, & of good
moral character and that the land
mentioned in his Schedule, is leased
Indian Land, which he purchased from William
Pettis by verbal agreement that said
Pettis died without making him an
Letter or giving him any obligation
for the same. And the heirs that _____
immediately interested in that part of
the Dec’d lands, being entirely under __
it may be doubted whether ever the
applicant will obtain any titles at all.
This information I have from being
present at a conversation between
the representatives of the Dec’d & this
Robert Mursh.
