UBI SOFT MAKES LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO THE MYST® BRAND
Ubi Soft and Cyan Worlds, Inc. extend partnership to cover the Myst®
franchise through 2008
Paris, FRANCE - October 8, 2002 - Ubi Soft® Entertainment,
one of the world's largest video game publishers, announced today
an agreement to extend its partnership with Cyan Worlds, Inc. to
develop and publish new games for the Myst® franchise through
2008. The deal ensures that Rand Miller, co-creator of Myst and
founder of Cyan Worlds, Inc., will continue to play a central role
in helping Ubi Soft develop the Myst series. It also furthers Ubi
Soft's ability to produce and market games for a wide audience.
"Since its first release in 1993, Myst has become one of the best-selling
video games of all time. Ubi Soft continues to build on this success
and has recently expanded the brand to new generation consoles,"

Presto Studios announces it will be making no more
games. Creators of MYST3 EXILE, Presto Studios, is
discontinuing software development. Whacked! for X-box will be the
last product shipped. Executive Producer, Greg Uhler, says, "The
company will remain as a corporate entity for many years, but will
not be developing products."
UPDATE - 8 - 21 - 2002
EXILE DVD canceled! After taking a year and a
half the MYST3 EXILE DVD has been canceled.

the newest screen shots and news.
UPDATE - 4 - 2 - 2002
Four hour MYST miniseries Mandalay Television
Pictures in asssociation with Cyan and Columbia Tri Star Television
will produce a four-hour miniseries about MYST. This SCI FI
miniseries will reveal what really happened on the island of Myst.
