Greetings Corvette fans!

It has been an exciting first couple of months for us at Corvette Club Of San Francisco, and look forward to many more to come. We've been told by many of you how difficult it would be to organize a automobile club, but we are determined to provide bay area residents with the camaradarie that had been lacking here. For all of you that have given us suggestions, we would like to thank you for your contributions. We have been out and about promoting the club, and in some cases chasing down Corvette's we see on the road in our neighborhood. The response have been well received but much more is necessary to obtain the confidence of the potential members. And so, we continue to move forward.

Our logo wear has finally arrived, and is now for sale to all, and discounted 10% for members. That was quite an ordeal in itself, but we won't get in to that.

We have secured sponsors and continue to solicit sponsorship. Our latest solicitation has been our local Chevrolet dealership, and discussions are moving forward to obtain large scale sponsorship for the club.

We are in the planning stages of having a car show in Golden Gate Park here in San Francisco, which will be our annual event, perhaps sometime in September or October. We will inform you all with the details as they become available.

So, until this time or next month, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!

The 1970s were a time of great change for Corvette. While a late production start for the 1970 model year prevented the first cars from rolling off the assembly line until January, sales rebounded in 1971 and continued to climb. Changing the fuel filter on a 1993 C4

Tools required: 16 mm and 13/16 inch open/box end wrenches, 13/16” socket, 10 mm open end wrench, 10 mm socket, safety goggles, latex gloves to keep the gas off your hands in case you get to hold your lady that night, small to medium size hands, a fire extinguisher close at hand, and finally, two buckets of patience. If you tend to have a lot of table muscle (from eating too much) you will never fit under the car with it on jack stands. More.....
