Greeting Corvette fans!

Well, hello again all of you. I was just realizing how much pleasure I get in putting together this newsletter for all of you. I certainly learn so much when compiling the information. All of the trivia, the technical tips, and the feature article, provide me with a incredible resource. And so, I certainly hope you all enjoy the newsletter as much as I enjoy bringing it to you.

Anyway, the membership drive continues, and would like to welcome our new members. I will include membership information for the website, much like the photo gallery pages, but I STILL await pictures from certain individuals. Please members, send in the picture of your automobile. And don't forget to take advantage of the membership benefits provided, such as parts and service discounts, and discounts on logo wear, as well as, of course, this informative newsletter. More information may be found on the respective pages, friends and merchandise.

I am STILL working on the planning with the Parks and Recreation people, and may have to give up the letter writing campaign and go there directly. I am shooting for a September or October date for the clubs first annual event, hopefully in Golden Gate Park. It only makes sense, huh??

And the 'Vette Nights negotiations are, as well, in process. I can't understand why it is so hard to get a "yes" for an answer. So I am thinking of co-sponsoring the event with another club. If you are interested, please inquire.

Well, that appears to be what's in the works for the club, but one more thing. Check out the calendar for local and national events, and members, please consider supporting not only your club but the other clubs by attending its functions. We are all looking for the same thing, FUN!! And I have certainly been having a lot of fun lately. Perhaps I will post some pictures of events I participated.

And as always, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed their advice and information to help assist us with the club and the website. Please keep your comments coming, we welcome all.

Removing and Installing The C1 Body

First and foremost, proper body fitting is a relatively simple job and does NOT require knowing the sequence of the original shims to be done properly. In fact, I don't necessarily follow the factory shim pattern even when I know how the original was done. I have re-fit the body on both my '58 and '61 and have helped a couple of other people do their cars ('59 and '62). More.....
