Greeting Corvette fans!
It's really hard to believe that June is already here. And with that, the nights will be a bit warmer, and the days a bit longer. And what does this all mean? More time to enjoy yourself, as you cruise the streets and highways in your Corvette. What a rush!! Anyway back to my note to everyone. The membership drive is continuing, and we are looking out for all bay area Corvette lovers, as we pass out our brochures; So be on the lookout all prospective members.
The planning for Corvette Club Of San Francisco's first annual event in Golden Gate Park, is becoming a long process securing all the necessary permits and permissions, but I will succeed. A few more letters and phone calls ahead.
As part of your membership benefit, our friends are offering parts and service discounts, so check them out!
Our membership meetings are now being held at Ellis-Brooks Chevrolet, thanks to Mrs. Brooks and the kind people there.
The 'Vette Nights negotiations are, as well, in full swing, and I look forward to securing an agreement very soon.
Don't forget to order your club merchandise, found on the club website. All of the merchandise is available to all, and discounted for club members.
I will be attending Vette-O-Rama XXXII in Concord on the 15th of June, and I encourage all members and others to attend to support our sister clubs, and don't forget, HAVE FUN!! The website's calendar has been expanded to include the entire year, so if you or your club has an event coming up anytime within the year, please submit the information, so we can post it.
I am still waiting for those pictures guys, and you know who you are. So please get them to me, so I can add them to the gallery.
And as always, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed their advice and information to help assist us with the club and the website. Please keep your comments coming, we welcome all.
So, until next month........
Happy Motoring,
Terryl J. Smith
