Greeting Corvette fans!
Well, another month has past, and working harder than ever to get the club fully operational. The membership drive is in full swing, and for all of you who have yet to register, do so to take advantage of the membership benefits. I am still negotiating with major sponsors, and hope to end these negotiations with the financing available for our first major event, hopefully this year. Also, I am working on having a monthly, and hopefully weekly, co-sponsored event, which will not only feature Corvettes, but automobiles of all kinds.
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed their advice and information to help assist us with the club and the website. Please keep your comments coming, we welcome all.
The membership benefits just keep coming and coming. I have worked out an agreement with some of our friends for our members to receive discounts on their services provided you are a Corvette Club Of San Francisco member. All you need to do is present your membership card for these discounts. As always, members are also entitled to discounts on our merchandise, which will soon include a larger variety of logo items. Order today!!
Check out the calendar for events in and around your area, and am looking forward to showing the '72 again this year, so look out all of you. I have learned quite a lot from last year, so the toothbrush will be with me at all times. I want those 1st place awards!! So see you all soon, and until next month........
Happy Motoring,
Terryl J. Smith

To help distinguish the appearance of the ZR-1 from standard Corvette Coupes, it was given an all-new convex rear fascia and quad rectangular taillights. More.....

C5 Removable Roof Adjustment
This is what worked for me, it differs
from GM's official instructions.
This is for a minor adjustment and assumes a course adjustment has already been
made. This may be different for a 2000 or later.
You'll need a 2mm Allen wrench and a T30 Torx driver. If you have an old roof
which is properly adjusted take a look at the gap between the housing around the
front latch handle pivot point and the striker assembly, you will need to
unlatch each front latch to see this. More.....
