Greeting Corvette fans!

Due to time restraints, I have not been able to contribute to the club the last few months, but I am back!! And hungrier than ever. I have continued to promote the club and its ongoing plans for our annual event, and must say that things are going well. We have many potential members, just as hungry as I am, ready to enjoy this coming year, and the camaradarie it will bring. As always, we are accepting memberships on an ongoing process, and encourage all to join. If any of you know someone who is looking to join a Corvette club in the San Francisco area, please refer them to us. This help would be greatly appreciated.

I have revamped the website to make it more informative, and useful in obtaining information in meeting your needs. I also welcome any and all suggestions you may have in order to make the website even better. I have made it possible for all to list links to their Corvette-related websites, and to submit their local activities. The site will continually be updated to provide the most current information.

You may, as well, purchase our logo wear directly from our site. I have done considerable work creating these items for you all, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Check them out and let me know what you think.

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and an even better year thus far. I am looking forward to this new year, and the pleasure it will bring while enjoying the fellowship with all of you. It looks to be a very eventful year, and so until then or next month.........

The 1980's Anticipation

Sales of Corvette remained strong in the early '80s. It was clearly now a part of the American fabric, attracting buyers with its rich heritage and dramatic styling.

There were no 1983 Corvettes produced for public sale, but 43 pilot models of the new-generation Corvette were built in 1983 for testing purposes. Today, one of those 1983 pilots is on display at the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The rest were scrapped. More.....
