Hello all,  

Just a few words to let you know what I have been doing to get this club started. I have been working diligently on the web site, and if I do say so myself, I think I have done a pretty good job! I do have a confession to make, Terry helped a little….ha ha. I went all over the web, searching for ideas, and information to put on the web pages, I am sure that you will find it very useful and informative. There are still some minor things to be worked on, but that won’t be for long. 

         Now that the web page is pretty much taken care of, I have been working on getting members for the club, and am excited about the responses for membership that I have been receiving. Constantly searching for new members, we have gone to a couple of cars shows, talked to some people at them, and hopefully will hear from them soon on their membership. We also met the really nice people that were putting on the shows, and we were made to feel right at home. THANKS GUYS!!!  I never knew just how much work went into those shows. I guess I will learn just how much, when we put our first event on….(hopefully in the near future).

 I have been talking to all sorts of people, about club apparel, (t-shirts, hats, polo shirts, key chains, stickers, and the such) and I am narrowing it down to a few good places. Upon receipt of our order we will be shipping out hats, t-shirts, and key chains to our members. This should be taken care of within the next few weeks.

I also started a Yahoo chat club  http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/sanfranciscocorvetteclub which is a place for all Corvette enthusiast to come and talk about their cars, to get information, and helpful tips, and most importantly IT’S FREE!! We would love to have anyone that wants to join, to do just that! We look forward to seeing you there.

Well that’s pretty much what I have been doing since the birth of Corvette Club of San Francisco, and I am nowhere near finished. I hope to make this the best club on the West Coast, and I am looking forward to getting to know all the members, and of course getting to see all those beautiful cars!!!

    The Beginning Corvette debuted in January of 1953 as a show car in the GM Motorama. It was a stylish two-seat convertible, designed to show the world that GM could create a sports car to compete with European nameplates like Jaguar and MG. All 1953 Corvettes were Polo White with red interiors.     More.....

    Corvettes since the mid seventies up to 1999 models have aluminum and alloy wheels that were polished or painted with a clearcoat finish for protection. This clearcoat finish is very similar to the clearcoat finish on the body of the car.     More.....
