May 31st, 2004- It's that time of year again!

Yes, boys and girls; it's that time when Redeye makes his annual appearence in the ROC to become an active member for another month before it's back into hiding! Just kidding, I am feeling a bit low about my meager participation in the ROC over the last few years. It seems I get really gung-ho about everything once or twice a year; feeling like I'm the saviour come to resurrect the Redwall Online Community from whatever pitfalls it may be encountering and just as suddenly disappearing into the murky depths of uncertain existance from whence i come. But really, I'm going to try to make some significant contribution, mainly through work on Fort Tatterack, but I also hope to maintain this site as a source at which vermin sites, however large or small, may converge. That's really the aim, is to make a coalition of all the existing vermin clubs and to make sure no one gets left out.

With that goal in mind, I'm kicking off the new round of The Corsair Alliance by inducting Lord Broka Bragron's Fort Fear into our ranks. Also is the (hopefully) well-known Fort Tatterack, headed by myself under the name Khardus Mordin. But let's face it, folks: I'm just a figurehead. I owe everything to my Second-In-Command, Jadak, for keeping up with everything while I was away. I don't know if there was some reason for me not including Fort Tatterack in the Alliance in the first place, but the revived vermin club is now officially one of us. Unfortunately, I'll probably be making some negative changes to the alliance roster in the future, as I believe some clubs have gone dormant since I was last here. However, I will give ample time to the webmasters to respond to my message before I send them down to the retired list. And even then, it's very much reversible. Just a simple cut and paste and viola. Uh yeah, I guess that's all for this massive update. I'm glad to be back!

June 17th, 2004- More War...

Well, hopefully you're aware that the war is still going. There's been some minor turbulence, what w/ school being over and now some people can get on a LOT more and others can get on a LOT less. It's still turning out nicely, though. It's moving fast, I'd recommend you not miss too much, as it gains two to three pages a day now. I was unlucky enough to have to wade through three-pages worth of new going-on.

Hey, I entered The Corsair Alliance in the new Redwall Top 50, so please vote! Not that it has too much of an audience, but please vote whenever you come buy. It's a convenient little link at the bottom of the page.

June 13th, 2004- School finally over

Ack, sorry for the lack of updates, even though I did have a thing or two to talk about. First off, as the title says, school is finally out for me; my last day will be tomorrow. That means I'll have some definate extra time until I can find myself a job. Thus, I plan on getting a charter up, the links page back up, and possibly adding an archive for old updates.

Let's move on to more important matters, though...the war at Fort Ruddler is still progressing. I'm still very pround to be role-playing with everyone involved, I think they're all doing a spectacular job. Typh Serpentblade of The Pirates of Cold Bay, who is leading this war, is adding some excitement and getting some actual fighting going; playing on her aggressive "less talk, more action" attitude. If you haven't alreday done so, come on down and help out.

And it would look as though we've got yet another new member to welcome in. It's pretty amazing, five members over a span of 18 days...not bad at all. A week after joining, I finally added Vilu Daskar's Redwall Vermin Alliance to the member's list. I'd say we've got a considerable force behind us, with seven clubs, while three weeks ago The Corsair Alliance was only boasting two. I guess I'll leave off here.

June 3rd, 2004- Wondrous Things

Well...maybe not quite. But hey, we've got a new member! Putting our total active members up to six, Bandrat has entered his club, Bandrat's Crew into the alliance. That links page is slowly...slowly...slowly...getting worked on, as is the charter I keep teasing you eager chaps with.

The war is going quite well. We've overcome some minor OOC turbulence and have successfully killed/captured (one of each) two would-be assassins. We're still pretty much in the planning stage, but it's going really well. I think we broke the 200-posts barrier at some point. Yeah. This was surprisingly concise. Probably because I'm tired. That is all.

May 29th, 2004- Not much to say, really.

I'm just kinda updating for the sake of updating...the war is still going full-blast, and I pity whoever tries to join in now and has to wade into nearly 100 posts...it's all good stuff, though. Some bumps along the road in terms of tensions within the alliance, but it just makes for a more enjoyable story. Sorry I haven't been working on the links page very much; I'm remodeling another club which will (hopefully) be functional by the start of the summer. Hrm...Eastern Time-wise, I started writing this update on the 28th and finished on the 29th. :o

May 25th, 2004- More war. More members.

Alright! The Alliance is now five clubs strong! If I remember correctly, the most active clubs we've had operating at one time was eight. I think. Anyways, I'm gonna go for ten. Ah, let me get to it, member number five is Corsairs of the Black Flag, under the command of Raiko Redblaze. I'm not too sure whether or not many of their members will be able to assist in the war at Fort Ruddler (notice how sneakily I snuck that link in), but I think the allied vermin forces can hope to see some new faces showing up there.

As for the war itself, it's going very well. I'd say up until this point, we've been setting up the settings and new role players have been arriving. That's of course still in progress, but now things are also moving more toward the actual war, such as planning to storm the fort, etc. In my four years in the ROC, I have to honestly say it's some of the most skillful and interesting role-playing I've ever seen, so please come join in. The more the merrier!
