I found myself in something called a cat & dog home. Not a nice place and I would not recommend it. Seriously it wa not a good place, but thankfully I wasn't there long. One day these humans came in and they took me to their home.
On the way there in something I've heard them call the 'car' there was such a horrible noise. It seems that these humans like noise while they 'drive'. These humans are particularly fond of something called 'rock music'. Personally, I think it is just a noise, so I yowled and wailed as much as I could till they made it stop. Unfortunately they have devices in the house, almost in every room which play this 'music' and they listen to it often.
They had the cheek to keep me inside for at least a fortnight. I heard them talking that they wanted me to stay in until I knew where my home was, but how am I supposed to know that when I don't know where they have brought me to. Not very intelligent these human creatures, but they have the opposable thumbs which allow them to open the food cans for me. Saves me bothering to hunt.
I was quite enjoying being master of this new domain and having them run around after my every beck and call. They are so stupid that all I need to do is look cute and they will feed me, cuddle me and play with me.
I was most put out when they brought another cat to my domain. They call her Poppy. I like to follow her around and practice my hunting skills on her. Can't do anything else with her because I've been 'done'. I'd better not be missing anything nice or I'll scratch and bite them both.
I don't think she likes me much, but I was here first, so I don't care.
Now that we are both getting outside, I don't mind her being around so much. She has shown me new warm spots in my house.
Well the humans continue to keep me in this captivity. I try my best to get under their feet and make them fall, but so far I have been unsuccessful. I'm taking notes from Poppy as she seems to have had quite a bit more practice at this than I have.
She still annoys me and every time I try to chase her I get a smack. It is not much fun, but at least it is better than that 'vet' human. I really don't like her at all and I hope I don't have to go back ever again. I heard the humans talking about 'boosters' which I think means I may have to go back. Will have to try to distract them more so they forget about it.
The humans have been out in what they call the 'garden' quite a bit recently. They keep messing up my territory with their 'digging'. I thought I was helping them but they didn't seem to like me digging things up. I like it though, because I can get all muddy and that's fun.
The female human gets particularly upset when I walk across the floor with my muddy feet. She rushes to clean up the marks. I think it is really funny to watch so I do it as often as I can.
It is not all doom and gloom though. They brought some cacti home with them the other week. Very tasty.
