| The Marystan seen in Charlestown in 1991, soon after renaming from Maenporth. She had been laid up in the River Fal as this, with a green hull and funnel. What is interesting is the use of the Beck's B on her funnel, for whom she was built for in 1963 at Martenshoek. In 1981 she became Thamwell and then in 1988 she renamed Maenporth. Maenporth is a small coastal village across Falmouth Bay, with Holiday flats, and a cafe! I believe she is now in the Caribbean. |
