| The Cormorant and her Bremerhaven built sister Gannet where regulars to the port in the early 90's. The St. Vincent flagged vessel was built in 1963 as Norder Piep, becoming Griend in 1973 and passing into Union Transport fleet between 1977 and 1986 as Union Mercury. In 1986 she ran for 4 years as Rita Marie until 1990 when she renamed Cormorant, under the management of Swinship Shipmanagement who tend to name their ships after birds. She is 445grt. |
