Laser guided bombs (LGB`s) are a hot item these days , but they excist since the Vietnam war. Since the early 70`s these bombs also were dropped on the Vliehors range.Laser guided bombs (also called `smart bombs`) are nothing more than a standard general purpose bomb body updated with a computer unit and guidance fins , to provide steering , attached to the front of the warhead and a wing assembly to the aft of the bomb body to provide lift.
