| Wednesday 19 july a little before 15.00 hour the RNLAF F-16 J-363 crashed in the Waddenzee, just a few miles for the shore of the range. The F-16, callsign Burst22, had an engine flame out most likely caused by a birdhit. The pilot ejected safely and was rescued by the SAR, Gannet01. The F-16 belonged to 311 Sqn., but was flown by a 313 Sqn. pilot. |
