| 22-02-01 Again an attack on the control tower.This time a Tornado from Eggebeck, Germany hit the tower 7 times with his 27mm Mauser cannons.The three personnel members on the tower were by a miracle not hurt at all. |
| 08-11-01 At 09.03 a German Tornado ser.no. 44+51 crashed on the Vliehors due to an birdhit.The two crewmen ejected safely. One of the pilots landed in the water, the other landed on the range itself. The Tornado came down on the beach in a 60 degree dive, where it exploded. |

| 09-09-05 At the end of the morning, just before 11.00 hour, the Belgian F-16 ser.no. FA-112 from 1 Sqn. Florennes crashed just northwest of the range into the Northsea. Reason is possibly a birdhit. The FA-112, callsign Sting 13 was part of a 4-ship formation excercising on the range. The pilot didn`t eject, and didn`t survived the crash. |
