| 03-12-1948 A Spitfire of the Royal Netherlands Airforce hit with his propellor the strafing target wich broke off. The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing.It was a succesfull landing and the pilot was saved. 08-08-1951 An Auster crashed near to the Vliehors where he was heading to , to deliver a passenger. Due to very heavy weather one wing broke off and the plane crashed.Pilot and passenger were both killed. 25-03-1952 A Gloster Meteor F.4 ser.no.I-35/Y9-5 hit the beach during a bombing run.The plane smashed to pieces and the cockpit landed in sea.The pilot washed to shore couple of days later. 29-04-1953 A Gloster Meteor F.4 ser.no.I-48/Y9-7 from the 323 squadron of Leeuwarden flew into the towed flag where he was practicing on.The pilot was forced to make an succesfull emergency landing. |

| 17-10-1953 During strafing excercises a Meteor F.8 ser.no.I-218/4R-15 , from the 325 squadron of Leeuwarden suddenly crashed in the Northsea.The pilot was killed. 28-05-1957 Late in the afternoon a F-84F Thunderstreak the P-256/TC-19 from 316 Sqn , Eindhoven ,who was flying much too low , hit with his pylon tank a dune of approximately 0.5 meters high.Its left wing caught fire and the plane got in a spin.The F-84F crashed into sea after the pilot bailed out. 30-09-1959 During strafing excercises a Hawker Hunter F.4 the N-174/91-4 from 326 Sqn , Woensdrecht , was hit by its own ricochettes in the air inlet.The plane was losing power and the pilot was forced to use its ejection seat.The plane itself was recovered in august 1998! 08-02-1961 On its way back from Vlieland to Leeuwarden the Pipercup L-21B crashed into the IJsselmeer near to the dike.The crash took the life of the pilot.The only passenger on board survived. 16-03-1961 A Douglas RB-66B Destroyer ser.no.54-0430 from 10 TRW Alconburry was missed above the Northsea during it was dropping flares for dusk flying.The three crewmen didn`t survive. 17-01-1962 A Belgian F-84F the FU-48 from Florennes crashed south of Vlieland when he was practicing on the range.The pilot didn`t came out and was killed. 24-05-1966 Again a F-84F,the P-181 , but this time from the 315 squadron from Twenthe.He got a engine failure and crashed after an explosion.Again the pilot didn`t survive the crash. |

| 01-09-1967 A Canadian CF-104 Starfighter ser.no104791 from Baden-Sollingen, Germany ended suddenly in a big explosion.What caused the explosion is unknown.The pilot was killed. |
